
Founder and president of Webcognita, Alan Pruitt is a state-licensed private investigator with more than 12 years of experience in specialized corporate investigations and technical surveillance matters. He served his country proudly for 16 years, both domestically and abroad, as a U.S. Department of Defense credentialed counterintelligence agent in domestic and international assignments. He graduated from the University of Phoenix (Arizona) in 1999 and earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Management. Alan is also a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia.
Pruitt, a certified member of ASIS International, Alan is also board-certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International and is dedicated to upholding industry best practices, and advancing practical security information and publishing business intelligence e-Books for a diverse audience of consumers and law enforcement professionals in a timely, reliable and affordable Print On Demand (POD) digital format.
Alan is currently enrolled in the Arizona Western College Entrepreneurship Certificate Program in Yuma, Arizona. Pruitt’s areas of expertise include private and corporate investigations, intelligence analysis, operational contingency planning, skills training and related education. His company, Webcognita, represents more than 25 years of investigative experience with enterprise-level clients such as Fortune 100 companies, the U.S. Armed Forces, private risk management firms, public safety agencies and private post-secondary education programs.
